How does the Smart Business Card work?
The SMART BUSINESS cards have an NFC chip that wirelessly sends your information. If you tap the Card on compatible phones, a link with your contact information will pop up. Ready to be saved to the phone. There is a QR code on the back of the Card for older phones that don't have NFC.
How do I add my details to the Smart Business Card?
Once purchased, you will get access to login to create your profile. Here is where you can add all your contact details & social media handles etc.
How do I change/update my details?
You can change your details in real-time in a matter of seconds within your online profile. Once you log in to your profile using our Web App or Mobile App. You can update information on your Smart Business Card.
Do smartphones need an app to use the Smart Business card?
You do not need to download an App on any Smart Phone for the Smart Business Card to work. As this technology is similar to Apple and Android Pay, 9/10 phones are now compatible with all of SMART BUSINESS CARD's features.
Is Smart Business Card secure?
SMART BUSINESS CARDS is as secure as any new-age technology and as safe as the information you put on it. It only works within an inch of a compatible device and can only share rather than extract information. In addition, we do not have the facility to store any financial records or information. All shared are typically details you will have on your traditional business cards.
Is there a monthly subscription?
Yes, there is a monthly subscription of $2 and $4 depending on any of our plans that you choose. Our plans are the basic and the business plan and with any of these plans, you'd be able to get a share or the most of mysmartcard.
Compatible phones.
Androids from 2018 and all newer models are NFC enabled. All iPhone models, from iPhone 7 to iPhone 14, have an NFC chip. IiPhone7 – iPhone X needs to have the NFC turned on manually. iPhone XS and above, NFC is automatically turned on. For older i-phones and Android phones, we recommend using the QR code feature.
How do I turn on NFC?
On an Android device; 1. Tap settings, then tap More. 2. Scroll down to NFC and Android Beam options. 3. Tap on the NFC switch On an IOS device; Unlike Android devices, iPhones need not be "turned on" to work.

Smart Business Card can be customized and branded to the taste and specification of your organization. Most organizations can use the Smart Business card for different purposes ranging from a. Company ID card (b) Smart Business Card (and c) Access control.
Can I customize my Smart Business Card using my Logo or Design?
Immediately after purchasing Smart Business Card. You will receive an email asking for design specifications and how you would like to have your Smart Business card customized and branded. You can log in to your user dashboard through the email and password you chose during the setup process. Once you login then, you can have your logo uploaded to the picture section.
Forgotten Password?
You can reset your password by going to: https://mysmartcard.co/auth/login and clicking on forgot password. Follow the prompts, and you can choose a new password.
What if I misplace the Card?
A replacement card will be issued for 50% of the initial purchase within three months and 70% after three months.
What information is needed to create a Smart business card profile?
All you need to set up a profile is (a) Name (b) Email (c) Phone (d) Billing Address
Can data be extracted from the phone when you tap/scan the Card?
Data can only be passed from the Card to the phone when tapped on a phone. Data cannot be extracted from the phone when tapped on it. The Smart Business Card cannot receive or remove data from a phone.
What happens when the Card gets stolen or spoilt?
If the Card is stolen, you can deactivate the Card from your user dashboard, and instantly your details will become inactive on the Card
How do I receive someone's contact information?
You can receive a 3rd party's contact information after tapping the Card on the phone by asking that they click on the exchange contact button and fill out the lead generation form. Contact information is automatically saved on your user dashboard, synced to your Google account, and saved on your phone.
